Why lack of common decency is so bad for all?

The lack of common decency is like a cancer and you don’t want to be the one on the receiving end. Showing disrespect, no courtesy and lack of basic politeness creates an environment primed for divisiveness and the outcome in the long term is a loss-loss strategy. After this, relationships are difficult to restore. So, how do you deal with indecency?
