Why are some better at decision-making?

Decision-making is one of those things that applies to everyone regardless of gender, politics, nationality, education level, work experience to mention a few. You can see the positive results or consequences of decision-making all around us. Yes, some decisions are relatively simple but others are more complex. For example, some decisions have both high risk and uncertainty factors. So, what strategy or process would you use for these? Would you decide on your own or consult with someone with expertise on the issue or collaborate with a person who as they say “has some skin in the game.” Now, from 1 to 5, how would you rate your decision-making skills? If you say you have a perfect score, prove it!
