Why paying fair wages is not enough?

Managers compete for talent as everyone wants to hire the best. Even if you offer competitive wages, employees will leave once they realize they are doing the work of two or more individuals and are not recognized for their hard work, for example. You would think that by now it should not be hard to figure out how to attract and retain exceptional employees. So, if potential employees do not want to work for you, whoseproblemis it?

He holds a master's degree in International Business and is ABD in a doctoral management program on Management Theory & Practice. He is also fluent in Spanish. And his alma mater is Northern Arizona University.
