How do you work with impersonators?

There are a variety of impersonators. The more serious ones include those claiming to be medical doctors or police officers, for example. But you may also find them at work too. These include claiming to have had many accomplishments when this is a lie. Regardless, the strategy is the same – deceive by looking and sounding the part. So, if you are assigned to work with an impersonator, what do you do?
