What is the real cost of incivility?

Incivility is a real thing – in a poll – 43% say that they have experienced incivility at work. But of course, we see incivility in our communities as well such in places where we shop to road rage, for example. The cost of it, at work, includes not only high turnover but also disengagement which can result in unnecessary costly errors. So, for starters, what type of problem is incivility?
