The boss or coworker with a chronic inflated ego can cause misery and inflict harm to countless initiatives from making things better to just getting business results because they claim to be the only ones with a brain. Some comments include that some tasks can be done by a “trained monkey” (no disrespect to monkeys!) to disregarding someone’s input as simply “stupid” because it comes from a particular person.
