Data shows that baby boomers (55 and older) are less likely to switch companies due to poor customer service than millennials (25 to 34 years old). The range between these two groups, however, still hovers between 27% to 49% which is significant. Some of the top reasons for the loss of customers include rudeness and making customers feel unappreciated. So, ask a business owner what they want when they are customers themselves and what they do when someone is indifferent and unhelpful to them?
