The Fortune 500 CEOs only has about 2% women representation and globally among the 214 companies that own the close to 2,000 most recognizable consumer brands only about 14 women are CEOs. So, the leadership gap is not a U.S. issue and to say that women are too “emotional” begs the question of which emotion are some referring to for example sad, mad, scared, joyful, powerful or peaceful. Lots of programs and initiatives on how to address this gap but obviously it is not working. So, what would you do differently?
