Fierce competition in the marketplace is what keeps companies up at night and no one is immune to this. So, when you see a company’s sliding sales for three consecutive years, who is to blame? More than likely, the first or two years are blamed on external factors such as the “weather” or internally you can hear that employees are “not motivated enough.” If loss of sales continue after three years, who and/or what is the culprit?
