There is a good and bad side to being an opportunist. On the good side, there are some who take advantage of an opportunity and make the best of it. On the bad side, an opportunist sees you as a means to an end and they may be disguised as a friend, cheerleader or equal partner. It gets worst when they do a “favor” for you because they will milk it to its fullest. Once you are no longer of use to them, you will be ignored and the relationship and trust will be broken.
